Most people’s first time driving their car on a racetrack—a track day—feels random.
You show up, do what you’re told, drive as best you can, and leave thinking:
“I think that went well… but I’m not really sure what I’m doing.”
That’s normal.

There’s a lot of information out there, but not much of it helps you answer those questions in a straightforward way.
This is my attempt to make that a little clearer, based on what I’ve figured out so far.
